Afew Goods Sneakers
Afew Goods (an independent brand by AFEW) combines streetwear and sustainability with high quality and a visible production process. Guaranteeing use of biologically produced fibres, environmentally friendly production and fair textile processing, Afew Goods aim to find a better solution to the ecological problem that the fashion industry causes.
Using only GOTS certified cotton for their products, which is not only comfortable and high quality, but 100% organic and not treated with chemicals, all of Afew Goods’ items are made in Portugal under fair conditions.
Sneaker boutique AFEW was founded in Germany in 2008 by brothers Andreas and Marco Biergen. After selling the hottest releases from brands like Nike, adidas, Diadora and New Balance for years, and collaborating with the likes of ASICS, Saucony and Diadora, they created the independent brand Afew Goods and finally created their own sneaker.
The Yamasura Runner took inspiration from many things that were dear to the design team. The midsole was designed around the look of the twin radiators on the side of Ferrari’s Testarossa, giving the sneaker a nostalgic 80s/90s feel, and was made from BLOOM Algae EVA foam. Vegan materials like suede, nubuck and mesh were sourced sustainably from around Europe and coupled with a recycled PU sole.
