The adidas X_PLR is a minimalist lifestyle sneaker first released around 2016-17 that borrows heavily from the aesthetic vocabulary of adidas’s NMD line but trades in some of the high-end tech for more accessible design.
It features a breathable mesh or textile upper, often with synthetic overlays or leather accents around the lacing cage, plus a moulded EVA midsole for lightweight cushioning. Branding is clean and sporty, with the Three Stripes visible as webbing or tape, reflective details, and the classic Trefoil logo on tongue and heel.
