WMNS Club: Did you know the best sneaker collabs?

Hellooo you dear sneaker girls! ☀️ I hope you had a nice and relaxed weekend and started the week well today. We are here at the office in Amsterdam and are looking forward to the beautiful sunny week after the rainy weekend - because of that we are going to present our favourite sneakers! Last week I already explained to you what exactly a sneaker collaboration is and what it is all about. Today I present you 5 of the best sneaker collabs!

Here is your blog post: << WMNS Club: The characteristic guide for sneaker collaborations >>

If you've read this blog post and are well informed about sneaker collaborations, then we can now start with our best sneaker collabs. Have fun reading this article!

The best sneaker collabs

I have to admit that it was not easy to find out 5 of the best collaborations, because there are really a lot of nice collaborations. Especially on Nike models like the Nike Air Max 90, the Nike Air Jordan or the Nike SB Dunk, a lot of talented designers had their hand on it. Of course there are collabs that are more celebrated in the sneaker world than others. But there are also some really cool collaborations where opinions differ - it's a matter of taste. ?

Really popular collaborations are of course those with top designers, the hottest brands, such as Supreme and Off-White, or with celebrities, such as Travis Scott or Kanye West. You will also find one or the other of these names in our top 5 selection. Do you want to know more about the Off-White x Nike Collabo? Here you can find all Off-White x Nike releases you might have missed.

Well, I guess that's enough. Let's get to the real part of this blog post. Let's start with our super nice collaborations! Click on the pictures to get to the links of the retail pages.

ASICS x Ronnie Fieg

Let's start with a collab with the brand ASICS. Ronnie Fieg is a clothing and shoe designer. He is also the operator of the lifestyle brand and retail shop 'Kith'. He has often teamed up with the sneaker brand ASICS and from that some really nice kickz have been created. Here we present you one of his gems: The 'Neptune Blue' on the silhouette of the ASICS Gel-Saga.

An actually very simple shoe, which comes along with many blue tones - Neptune would be proud! At first sight it's not that crazy, but if you know that Ronnie Fieg had his fingers in the pie, it's clear that this can only be super nice!

adidas x Kanye West

Kanye West and his Yeezys - the hype continues! Everything you need to know about the story behind the collab between adidas and American rapper Kanye West can be found here. Yeezys are the absolute trend and Kanye and adidas know this very well. That's probably the reason why a new pair of Yeezys is coming onto the market almost every week. Many people can't wait to get their hands on new Yeezys, which is why they often camp out in front of the shops or sign up with a variety of raffles to increase their chances of getting one of their own.

Also the resell prices of these sneakers are really high, for the fact that they are available at raffle already for €220. Here's the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 'Zebra' - in my opinion one of the most beautiful colorway on a Yeezy Boost. What do you think about it?

Nike x Travis Scott

Travis Scott - a name that is not only in great demand in the rap and hip hop scene, but also causes more and more sensation in the sneaker scene. His collaborations with Nike is always lit! And it's always so! Because Travis gives the Nike silhouettes a very special, unique and above all extraordinary look! Have you perhaps already managed to get hold of one of them?

One of his most popular works took place on the model of the Nike SB Dunk Low. The different patterns and the plain colors black, brown and white give the sneaker that special something. A Travis Scott is always a good choice! Little hint: You don't celebrate his color choice at all? Try your luck with the releases anyway, because the things are worth a lot afterwards - a real collector's shoe that can't just be rocked!

Supreme x COMME des GARÇONS x Nike

At this collab we get directly a trio of collaborators. Supreme - yes exactly, this brand has always caused a real hype anyway. COMME des GARÇONS - they're always involved in really nice collabs too and together they took on the now so popular silhouette of the Nike Air Force 1 Low in 2018.

This Air Force is also very simple, as it is exclusively in black and white. What catches your eye? The 'Split Swoosh' - this is rather unusual for this shoe model. We also get a cobranded text on the heel. Just great! Simply unique! No wonder that this is one of the most popular collabs!

Parra x Patta x Nike

Last but not least you can look forward to a trio again, but that is not all. Because this sneaker is a real highlight! In 2010 the Dutch artist Parra and the Amsterdam based sneaker shop Patta got together with Nike and designed the cherry on the cake! His name - Cherrywood. A really badass piece!

On the silhouette of the legendary Nike Air Max 1 there was a suede upper with matching mash caps in the toe and entry area. Besides the cherry red upper, the colorful outsole also stands out! Check out this one for yourself.

More of the best sneaker collabs?

Have I got you guys under the spell of the collaborations now? Of course this was only a small selection of really cool collabs. But be curious, because also in the next weeks, months and years there will be more and more collabs. In our Release Calendar we will keep you up to date. But also in our Sneaker Collection you will find some cool kickz! There are brands like Nike, adidas, New Balance and many more - it's worth checking out!

In today's world, a lot is going on about the influencers on social media. Last week I told you something about the collaboration of influencers and sneakers. "What do influencers do? Influencers are often part of different affiliate marketing programs and are very busy with digital marketing. They advertise products through their social media channels (Influencer Marketing). What do they get in return? Commissions paid for purchases made through their links to retailer websites. However, the editorial content is not affected by any commissions." I've already explained this to you in this blog here. If you want to know more about how influencers and sneakers are related, take a look at our Newsblog.
