Vans releases an eco-positivity collection

On the occasion of Earth Day, Vans has released its new eco-positivity collection. The collection has been online since April 4, 2022. The main focus here, as the name of the collection already reveals, is on environmental protection. Vans is making a statement:

"It is only natural to worry about the earth."

The Eco-Positivity collection combines elements of organic and recycled materials in shoes as well as in all garments. Vans also announces that the Circle Lee sneaker, for example, has a textile upper made of 48% organic cotton and 47% hemp. The insole is made of at least 70% organic foam, which is derived exclusively from vegetable oils. Even the outsole is not made of rubber, as is usually the case, but of natural rubber.

What's also special about this sneaker is that Vans donates one US dollar to the Tides Foundation for every Circle Vee product sold. This idea was born out of the cooperation with the Ocean Conservancy, a global organization that focuses on the protection of the oceans.

Great attention was also paid to sustainability in the production of the garments. All shirts and long-sleeves are made of pure organic cotton. Decorated with motivational slogans such as "We bloom together" or "Remember: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. For a brighter tomorrow", Vans wants to continue to inspire youth culture to develop more sustainable products and systems and raise awareness for environmental protection.

The sustainable Eco-Positivity collection is already available in all Vans stores and online since April 4, 2022.
