The Stüssy x Nike Air Huarache LE returns

The collaborations between Stüssy and Nike go back a long way. The first time the two brands started working together was in the year 2000. Then Stüssy and Nike released the Air Huarache Le together. Now we are going to see this sneaker again in 2021.

Stüssy and Nike have been releasing delicious sneakers in recent months. For example, in 2020 we saw the return of the Air Zoom Spiridon Cage and released colorways for the Air Kukini. Stüssy released two colorways for the Air Force 1 at the end of 2020, of which we're looking forward to seeing hand-dyed variations released soon.

One of their most legendary releases is the Stüssy x Nike SB Dunk Low 'Cherry', a colorway inspired by Neapolitan ice cream. This shoe came out in 2005 and is a grail for most sneakerheads.

So it all started at the Air Huarache. The concept behind the release was very simple: Michael Koppelman of Stüssy UK, and Fraser Cooke, of Nike, chose their favourite Nike model, created two beautiful colorways on the sneaker, and sold them in small quantities at the Stüssy London Store.

The Stüssy Nike Air Huarache LE features a cream knit upper with Desert Oak suede overlays. The tongue features the Nike Huarache logo in red with the tongue in grey. Looking at the midsole it also has a cream colour.

The Stüssy x Nike Air Huarache LE 'Desert Oake' is expected to be released on February 18 via Nike. Check out the images below and follow us on Instagram and Facebook to stay up to date with the latest sneaker news.
