New Balance had many great collaborations in 2020 on the New Balance 02- model with brands such as JJJJOUND, Aimé Leon Dore, Packer and Patta. Now Sneakersnstuff has had a chance to put their hands on the 920.
Sneakersnstuff was founded in 1999 by Erik Fagerlind and Peter Jansson. Both worked in the sports and lifestyle scene in Stockholm and saw a gap in the market, especially for the sneaker collectors. In the late 90's no big sneaker retailers dominated Stockholm and after their trip to New York City they got so much inspiration that Sneakersnstuff was set up in 1999. Now two decades later there's no ignoring the Swedish retailer and they are at the top of the sneaker and lifestyle shops.
Sneakersnstuff x New Balance 920
The sneaker, like every New Balance release, consists out of premium materials. The base is out of orange mesh. Over this mesh base are suede overlays in different colours of orange. 3M elements are on the toebox and side of the sneaker. Looking at the tongue we see that it has a green colour and is made of suede. New Balance branding we can see on the tongue and heel of the sneaker. The Sneakersnstuff appears very subtly on the tongue dubrae and insole. The upper part rests on a cream ENCAP midsole. Because of this ENCAP technology it feels like you are walking on clouds every day.
On Thursday 7 January you can use the Sneakersnstuff app take part in the raffle for the New Balance 920. Besides the sneaker there will also be a clothing collection on the 15th of January.
