New Balance is certainly not to be missed as a brand in the sneaker world. Time after time, the brand releases cool new pairs in different colorways. This time, they add the New Balance Made in UK 911 to their list. It was recently released in a brand new colorway.

New Balance 991

The New Balance 991 first appeared in 2001 and was launched under the name M991. The unique thing about this model is that new techniques were used during production.

The 991 became the first model to feature ABZORB cushioning technology incorporated into the heel and front of the silhouette. This provided ultimate comfort while wearing the shoe.

In addition, the outsole was also modified. For the first time, the outsole was equipped with the new Ndurance rubber compound. This made the model fit perfectly with New Balance's goal of making more durable shoes. It also reduced wear and tear around the sneaker.

Meanwhile, a number of different versions of the model have been released, including the Made in Uk collection. This collection received its name because the sneakers are produced in the Flimby Factory in England.

The English pair has an upper made of a number of different materials. The base of the model is made of mesh. Over the mesh are overlays that are made of nubuck. The sneaker has a grey and blue colour scheme, with branding found all over the shoe.

On the side of the model is the grey N-logo. This is finished with a white border. The pair has a thick midsole, of which the front piece is white in colour and the back piece has more of an off-white tint. The outsole of the silhouette is black.

Fortunately, we don't have to wait for the model. The New Balance Made In UK 991 is already available! Want to know where you can score this pair? Take a look at our release calendar. Don't forget to follow us on Instagram for the latest sneaker news!
