American designer Joe Freshgoods is no stranger to the sneaker community. After successful collaborations with Vans, Converse and of course New Balance, he has certainly already left his mark in the scene. Freshgoods and NB continue their collaboration, releasing a new collection consisting of two different 610 models and a Rainier Boot. We can expect the new Joe Freshgoods x New Balance collaboration in April 2023.
On Joe Freshgoods' Instagram, the new collaboration was showed for the first time. The sneakers have an outdoor feel. For example, the base of the Rainier Boots is covered in camouflage print with green overlays over it. To emphasise the adventurous mountain shoe vibe, the tongue label features a mountain landscape in a graphic manner and reads New Balance and JFG -2023 in gold letters.
Two different editions of the New Balance 610 are also coming out. One hooks into the camo print of the Rainier Boots. If the you look at the upper of this green 610. You will see a camouflage print on the mesh base. The other 610 uses the colours light beige, black and orange.
Freshgoods and New Balance have released several successful collaborations, think of their collabs on the 9060 model and the 993 collab. What do you think? Will this outdoor collection live up to the hype?
