Details of the new Air Jordan 4 'Deep Ocean'
If you take a closer look, you will see that the Jordan 4 Deep Ocean has a similarity to the Nike SB Dunk Low Sashiko from this year. Both are inspired from Japan and the materials are rather special. The Deep Ocean has a look of canvas and twill, which is made of quilted patchwork. Small accents are in a Deep Ocean Blue look and also in Sail and Fire Red visible. The Jordan logo is at the back of the shoe. Nike has remained true to the classic Jordan 4 look with the 'Deep Ocean'. This sneaker is a real highlight for every J4 fan.
History of the Jordan 4
The Air Jordan 4 is becoming increasingly popular even outside the Jordan fan scene. Many of those who find the Jordan 1 Retro High too expensive for resell and who are looking for a Jordan to wear are increasingly looking at the Jordan 4 models. What makes the 4-series special is that Michael Jordan wore the shoes himself. The best NBA season, measured by MJ's individual scores, was the Saison 1989, when he wore the Jordan 4 for the first time. He averaged 32.5 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. In the same year the AJ4 was released to the public and was the successor of the Jordan III. It was offered in four colours and contributed significantly to the history of the Jordan Brand.
Also in 2020 we could see some releases of the 4 Series Jordan that were quickly sold out. The Off White x Jordan WMNS 4 'Sail' is now over 1000€ on the secondary market. Additionally, cool collaborations like the ones with Union LA and the Jordan 4 were released. So you can say that the year 2020 was a Jordan 4 year.
