New colorways keep popping up for the Air Jordan 1 High model. Now, another colorway has surfaced on the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG called 'Shadow 2.0'. This isn't the first time we've seen this colorway appear, as it also dropped in 2018 and now a 2.0 version is coming!

In 1985, when the Air Jordan 1 debuted, the 'Shadow' colorway was one of fourteen colorways released on the model. The silhouette was designed by Peter Moore and Michael Jordan was not a fan of the sneaker. After a while Jordan changed his mind and the rest is history. In '94 Nike started releasing retro colorways. Two years ago we also saw a retro 'Shadow' colorway appear and this was only the fourth time a classic colorway saw the light of day. The 'Shadow 2.0' colorway will be the fifth in all that time.

The upcoming colorway does look a little different than its predecessors. Normally, the upper is made entirely of leather, but that does not seem to be the case here. The base is composed of black leather, but the overlays are made of grey suede. The Swoosh has also been given a grey suede makeover. In previous colorways, the toebox was coloured grey with black overlays, which is reversed in the 'Shadow 2.0' colorway. Underneath the upper, a clean white midsole breaks the sneaker open. Underneath, a black outsole completes the silhouette.

For a first look at the sneaker, scroll down. A mock-up has also surfaced that paints a clear, detailed picture of the colorway. We expect the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG 'Shadow 2.0' to release on May 15 in both adult and kids sizes. Keep an eye on Sneakerjagers for the latest sneaker news.
