'Do or do not. There is no try!' - Yoda. Dear Community, I could go on forever with Yoda and his clever sayings, but unfortunately that's not what today is about. We're in the right universe though, as our favourite Star Wars x adidas saga is getting back together and we're getting two new kicks this month that have different characters as their theme. Both Hans' old buddy Lando Calrissian and bounty hunter Boba Fett will get their own sneaker.
So before we fasten our seatbelts and take the Millennium Falcon on a fast ride through the Star Wars universe, here's the release info at a glance: The Star Wars X adidas NMD R1 V2 'Lando Calrissian' will be released on September 18th, 2020 at 0:00 am and will be available for 170€. The new Star Wars X adidas Top Ten Hi 'Boba Fett' will be released on September 25, 2020 at 0:00 am for 110€.

Star Wars X adidas NMD R1 V2 'Lando Calrissian'
Of course, we know Lando Calrissian as an old buddy of Han Solo, even if at first you can't be sure whether Lando is fighting just for himself or also for his friends. After he first betrays Han, Leia and the Droids to Darth Vader, he later helps them and becomes an important part of the resistance. Han Solo wins the legendary Millennium Falcon at a young age in a card game from Lando.
The Episode: The Empire Strikes Back will be 40 years old this year and the new Star Wars X adidas NMD R1 V2 'Lando Calrissian' is a great tribute to the great role. I think the silhouette of the NMD is very fitting. The running inspired sneaker is perfect for every adventure and street style is unimaginable without it. With the Calrissian Edition, adidas is now going even one better.
A black and white look, with yellow/gold accents and of course Lando's face on the tongue catch the eye first. Special design features also include: a quote on the side of the kicks and various leather overlays that run across the lacing and refer to the outfit of our favourite smuggler. A bit of gold here and there and Star Wars lace looks complete the design.

Star Wars X adidas Top Ten Hi 'Boba Fett'
At the moment, the Star Wars spin off The Mandalorian is also very popular. The 'series with the baby Yoda' as it is described by many, is about the bounty hunters, who make the galaxy unsafe/safe in Mandalorian armor. Boba Fett, from the Star Wars series, is not just another hunter, he is one of the most notorious bounty hunters in the galaxy. Now the character will receive a sneaker homage. The silhouette of the adidas Top Ten Hi has been reissued and the sneaker comes with some exciting features.
First of all, the upper is in the colour combination that also distinguishes Boba Fett. Matching the equipment the clone is wearing, the kicks come with breathable perforations. The shoes also come to the 40th anniversary of Star Wars Episode V. A print of Boba Fett himself is printed on the tongue and another special feature is the bag on the side of the kicks.
On the inside of this bag we find a quite famous quote from him: "You can run, but you'll only die tired." Next to a Star Wars lace looks and a few torn on the upper, each of which surely stands for an exciting adventure, this is the highlight of the sneaker.
