Nike Air Max 1 WMNS 'Football Grey' l DZ2628-105
On the sixth day of the Sneakerjagers Countdown to Air Max Month, we show you the Nike Air Max 1 WMNS 'Football Grey' - Tristan's personal favourite. "I think the Nike Air Max 1 is the most iconic sneaker out there. The 'Football Grey' colorway fits the silhouette very well with its subtle colorway," Tristan said.
The Air Max 1 was introduced in 1987 by designer Tinker Hatfield. The model was the first Nike sneaker to have a visible Air unit in the midsole. Since its release, the Air Max 1 has been one of Nike's most popular silhouettes ever. In 2024, the 'Football Grey' colorway appeared - a minimalistic colorway that combines white, grey, and light blue.
The sneaker has an upper made of mesh. Across the upper are suede overlays that give the pair strength. Classic Nike branding appears on the tongue, heel and midsole.

March is truly the favorite month of sneaker lovers! Nike has special campaigns every year to highlight the iconic Air Max series. On March 26, 2024, it will be Air Max Day! Worldwide, there are events and gatherings to celebrate. To top it off, numerous sneakers will also be dropped in the Nike SNKRS app on that day, including the highly anticipated debut release of the Nike Air Max DN.
