Salehe Bembury shows latest colorway of the New Balance Yurt 574

Salehe Bembury has teamed up with New Balance to design a new silhouette, the Yurt 574. This sneaker is inspired by the traditional tents used by cranial nomads to travel around Central Asia.

In previous collaborations with the American sports brand, you can see that Bembury always draws inspiration from nature. One colorway was inspired by earth, and the other on water.

The latest model, the Yurt 574, is designed for sneaker fans who like to live outdoors. This silhouette previously appeared in August of 2021 in a grey colorway. Salehe posted a preview of yet another colour scheme on his Instagram.

The upper of this Yurt 574 consists of different colours, in contrast to the grey colorway. The suede overlays are a moss green colour, as is the 'N' on the side and laces.

The toebox, tongue and collar of this silhouette are dark blue. Just like the moss green, this is a less striking colour in nature. On the inside of the forefoot is a leather overlay in burgundy.

Around the 'N' of New Balance there are red stitchings. This stands out a bit more, because this colour is not very common in nature. The lining of the model is also in red.

What makes the Yurt even more suitable for outdoor life is the element on the heel. On the heel you can see a plastic spout. This spout is a whistle that can come in handy when camping.

In addition to the two colorways released so far, there will also be a clothing line to go with the collaboration. The clothing line is also inspired by nature.

The release date of the Salehe Bembury x New Balance Yurt 574 is not yet known. Do you want to stay informed about all updates regarding this drop? Then follow us on Instagram and Twitter and keep a close eye on our release calendar.
