Update, 2nd April, 2026 - adidas and Pharrell Williams have officially unveiled the next chapter of their collaboration with the VIRGINIA Vario ‘Flat Earther’. This is a stripped-back, low-profile sneaker inspired by the early 2000s Yoga Vario.
The design marks a clear shift from Pharrell’s recent chunky silhouettes, focusing instead on a minimalist, close-to-the-ground feel that emphasises comfort and natural movement. Blending lifestyle and performance influences, the shoe features a sleek construction with premium materials and a flexible, almost barefoot-like structure.
The Pharrell Williams x adidas Vario Flat Earther is set to release in two colorways, 'White & Green' and 'White & Black', on 11 April 2026 via adidas CONFIRMED and select retailers. Our release calendar will provide all the detailed information.

Original Post, March 29th, 2026 - It is no secret that Pharrell Williams and adidas always know how to push the boundaries of footwear design. This time, they are introducing a brand-new silhouette that’s already turning heads: the adidas Vario. And the debut? The first colorways of ‘Flat Earther’ include a 'White/Black' and a 'White/Green' version!
The adidas Vario is far from your average sneaker. It features a sleek, low-profile, aerodynamic shape that feels like a mix between a futuristic racing shoe and a classic indoor trainer. The most striking element is the unique midsole construction and the way the materials wrap around the foot. This element gives the whole design a very high-fashion, avant-garde aesthetic.

The ‘Flat Earther’ Aesthetic
The debut ‘Flat Earther’ design keeps things sophisticated. We’re looking at a white base with accents in either a dark grey, almost flat tone, or a flashy green. These are the two debut colorways we know about, for now. The design complemented by premium materials that we’ve come to expect from the Humanrace lineage.
