Nike honours their rich history with the release of the 'Since '72' pack. Classic silhouettes have been redesigned in contemporary, natural colours. This bridges the gap between the past and Nike's innovative direction for the future. February 2024 saw the first images of an Air Max 1 colorway, which is part of the pack.
The visible Air Unit in the Nike Air Max 1 silhouette not only changed Nike's design, but it turned the entire sneaker world upside down. Because of this cushioning, Air Max became the norm, and no other brand has been able to imitate what the Swoosh managed in 1987.
It is therefore no surprise that Nike is coming out with an Air Max 1 for the 'Since '72' pack. Looking at the first images, we see a white mesh base with brown leather over the mudguard. The Swoosh really stands out as it has been given a red colour. In addition, this colour can also be seen on the Nike branding on the tongue. The insoles have a special 'Since '72' print and finally, the design is completed with a red and black outsole.
