The Simpsooooons 🎶! The American animated sitcom about the lovable, yellow family of the Simpsons is simply cult. The characters from Springfield, created by Matt Groening, have been delighting us since 1989. Their faces are also no novelty in the sneaker scene! Now adidas has also taken up the theme and it is quite possible that this collaboration will be a part of the A-ZX series of the Three Stripes brand. Rumor has it that a larger adidas x The Simpsons collection is also planned. However, that has yet to be officially confirmed. As soon as we know more, you will of course find the kicks immediately in our release calendar. We have heard speculations about a Superstar inspired by Moe's Bar and another ZX 1000 with a Kwik-E-Mart look.
But let's focus on the confirmed look for now: we already hinted at it, the kicks are wearing a design concept inspired by Krusty Burger. He hosts a show that the Simpson's kids, Bart and Lisa are totally into. In addition, he also has his own fast food chain that makes the famous Krusty burgers.

Visually, we see a mix of many allusions to Krusty The Clown himself, but also to his burger on the new ZX 10000. In addition to the colors of the TV clown's fast food chain, thick black stitching on the retro sneaker provides a cartoonish look. The brown overlays, complete with sesame seeds that look like the burger buns, for example, directly catch the eye. Add to that the colors of Krusty's skin tone, his green hair and also allusions to the red nose on the front of the shoe. So all in all, this is a colorful, playful sneaker that comes with a lot of attention to detail.
For example, the adidas branding has been quite ingeniously combined with Krusty's look. For example, the adidas Originals Trefoil logo on the tongue of the shoe comes with turquoise laces that are reminiscent of Krusty's hairstyle. But it gets even better on the heel! There we see the logo again, but stamped in fluffy green fabric, which makes the cover even more perfect.
As usual for the silhouette of the ZX 10,000, we also see the Torsion logo on the side, the supporting TPU elements on the heel and the kicks also feature the famous Torsion Bar in the sole.
