After Joe Freshgoods and New Balance were spotted working together for the 'Beneath the Surface' pack earlier this year, 2023, they have now teased us with a new New Balance 650 collab. Check out the first images below and read everything we know so far from the anticipated Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 650 collaboration!
The preview did not immediately catch the eye. Rather, it was subtly integrated into Joe Freshwood's recent "Across Town" campaign with Mitchell & Ness. This campaign featured official Cubs and White Sox shorts and 5950 Fitted Hats from New Era. But the neutral-coloured trainer with grey JFG branding also appeared on one of the models.
As with the 550 variant from the 'Conversations Amongst Us' collectie, the NB 650 is also equipped with a colour palette of 'Sail' tones. In addition, the combination of leather and suede creates a rare blend of grey tones that extend across the outsole. It also highlights the spherical tread logos and the JFG logo on the back. The design is rounded off by the JFG branding, which replaces the usual "650" branding on the forefoot and tongue.
At the moment, there is no official release date yet for the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 650 collaboration. However, you can expect New Balance and Joe Freshgoods to announce it soon in the summer of 2023. So keep an eye on our Instagram and news page to stay up-to-date on this and other releases!
