New Balance XC-72 'Castlerock' has a release date

New Balance is expanding its collection with a new variant of the XC-72 model. The New Balance XC-72 'Castlerock' will be released soon and is, just like its predecessors, a shoe that is definitely not to be missed.

Besides making solid shoes, New Balance also increasingly provides them with a sustainable jacket. With the help of a number of objectives, the brand is trying to reduce their impact on the environment. At the moment, New Balance is implementing various sustainable developments in order to be able to realise these objectives before the end of 2030.

These developments are also carried over to the upcoming pair. For example, the upper of the new XC-72 is made of chromium-free leather and suede. Chromium is a chemical that is processed in different materials, including leather and suede. When a shoe containing chromium is thrown away, it not only damages our health, but also the environment.

The New Balance XC-72 'Castlerock' comes dressed in a colour scheme where different shades of grey and black come together. The model has a reflective base that is made of nylon, so you will remain highly visible in the dark.

Over the base are overlays that can be found on the mudguard, the laces and the heel. These are made of chrome-free suede. Furthermore, the N-logo can be found on the side of the shoe and the model contains a rubber accent around the heel.

The midsole and outsole of the silhouette stick out like a bumper. On the underside of the outsole, studs can be found, which are divided into two forms. One half has round studs, while the other half has triangular studs.
