We all get inventive. In the first lockdown, houses were cleared out, basements tidied up, gardens spruced up and new hobbies discovered. In the second lockdown, the enthusiasm might have waned a little, but walks, home workouts, Skype calls and a few new hobbies saved us through the grey season. And now? We're somewhere between lockdowns and still at home. Maybe to keep up going, we could try mixing prints á la Converse with some cheeky cocktails?

Think about it - travelling to distant lands (through Netflix) in tropical prints and sipping fancy cocktails at the same time, brilliant.

So here it is: Mix Your Prints and Mix Your Drinks with Sneakerjagers! For each colourway we've picked out a recipe for you to enjoy, cheers!

Wild Florals Chuck Taylor All Star High and Low Top

Let's start with the classic Converse silhouette, the All Star High and Low Top in tropical garb.

For these pink/green mood setters, there is also the matching 'Hibiscus Colada' recipe.

Just like bright flowers and colours, wild animals are also part of what you would expect in the tropics, right? Here are the three coolest prints.

This wonderful safari print is best toasted with a 'Zombie'.

Admittedly, there isn't really a cocktail for this wonderful print in black and white, but we'll just take the joker. This drink should never be missing from a cocktail list: the 'Mojito'.

In my imagination, a 'raspberry daiquiri' is exactly the same colour as these vibrant Converse Kicks. And even if it doesn't, you can turn a blind eye to such deliciousness, can't you?

You will need: 3 organic limes, 160ml white rum, 60ml sugar syrup, 100g raspberries, 10 tbsp crushed ice.
How to make it: Cut the limes in half, squeeze. Put the rum, 90ml lime juice, raspberries and crushed ice in a kitchen blender and puree finely. You can adjust the consistency with crushed ice or water. Garnish with fresh raspberries.

What did you think of this slightly different sneaker guide? Personally, I might try a Mojito first, because you need the least equipment and know-how. I also like the print the best. You can also check out our sneaker news for more inspiration.
