‘Stranger Things’ and ‘Enola Holmes’ star Millie Bobby Brown has designed a new line of customisable Converse with Pauline Wattanodom. Inspired by female empowerment, Millie’s third Converse drop features two hands making a pinkie promise with entwined friendship bracelets.
Pauline Wattanodom is the 20-year-old Thai artist that teamed up to work on the illustrations, colour palette and materials together with 17-year-old Millie after she discovered the designer’s work. Pauline’s bold, colourful graphics and positive vision really sparks your imagination and obviously captured Millie’s eye as well. Check out her Instagram for more inspiration!
The Millie By You Collection
The collection includes both Chuck Taylor All Star and Platform All Star sneakers in a range of earthy tones and pastel shades, all featuring the hand-drawn (by Pauline) pinkie promise design. The breezy style is perfect for the upcoming Spring weather!
You can customise every part of the shoe to reflect your own style. From the heel stripe to the print to the eyelets!
Millie's Previous Converse Collabs
Millie’s first collab with Converse back in 2019 was a huge success. The collection explored her love of whales and ocean-life, with cute whale prints, and sunset and ocean wave inspired colours.
Her second line released in 2020 and this time reflected DIY aesthetics. Colour-blocking patterns, multi-coloured details and removable patches incorporated her ‘Be true to yourself’ style and projected a major ‘70s vibe.
Stranger Things - The Sneakers
Perhaps it was her time on ‘Stranger Things’ that brought out Milllie’s interest in sneakers. We can see the cast in a lot of different models throughout the three seasons. Check out these images from productplacementblog below!
