M is for Meissen! The adidas A-ZX series continues and brings together two giants from Germany in its latest release - united on a sneaker legend! Straight outta Germany
All year long we've been celebrating the releases around the journey from A to ZX in the relaunched adidas series. The series includes 26 unique ZX drops, all for one letter of the alphabet, and all super special! If you want to find out more, check out our Sneaker News here. For the 'M', adidas has now teamed up with the famous Meissen porcelain factory.
Of course, almost every child in Germany knows Meissen porcelain. Don't you? If you maybe are from Germany or have German friends or relatives think of this: Did you hear of storys where the mother or grandmother used to put the 'good crockery' on the table when guests came and tell the rest of the family to be super careful with it? This is mostly Meissen! But all joking aside, dear community. We are talking about Europe's oldest porcelain manufacturer here, which has been around since the 18th century. Besides tableware, they are also famous for high-quality vases, sculptures and their unique patterns. Today, Meissen is known all over the world for their popular and high-quality handicrafts.
So now they've teamed up with adidas to meet another giant from Germany. The fact that it all comes together on the legendary adidas ZX is just great. I don't have to tell you much about adidas, dear community. Meissen X adidas ZX 10000 C - the Details
Of course, when two greats like these meet, something good often happens. And we're lucky, that's absolutely the case this time too! Just like the classic porcelain from Meissen, the ZX 10.000 C comes all in white and has some floral prints on the upper. Other highlights are the perforations on the toe box and the heel. In addition, the adidas torsion system, which ensures perfect freedom of movement between the back and forefoot, is branded with the Meissen logo with attention to detail.
As a tribute to the origins of the two collaborators, the kicks are also made in Germany. The good quality that both brands stand for is also evident in the materials and workmanship of the shoes.
