In 2023, adidas and nu-metal band Korn teamed up for the first time, which proved to be a great success. The collection included both an adidas Campus and a Supermodified, in addition to a number of garments. Now, in April 2024, we get our first glimpse of the second collection from this collab. In the process, two new colorways of these silhouettes are revealed.
Korn and adidas have maintained an informal collaboration for quite some time. During the 1990s, the band penned songs like 'A.D.I.D.A.S', and its members frequently wore clothing from the brand during their stage performances.
The adidas Campus 2s is presented in a Black & White colour palette. The sneaker features a luxurious upper in black suede, complemented by white leather on the Three Stripes and heel. Notable is the large Korn logo on the tongue and heel, alongside hidden motifs inside the shoe that reference the A.D.I.D.A.S song and their album 'Follow The Leader'.
In addition, the adidas Supermodified offers a contrasting aesthetic with a brown and cream colour palette. The upper is mainly brown, with cream accents on the rubber toe cap, laces, inner lining, and midsole. Korn's presence is clearly marked with extra-thick laces and branding on the tongue and insole.
Besides these shoes, the collection also includes clothing items. You can expect tracksuits, shirts, hoodies, and flannels, among others.
The design of these sneakers and apparel items may undergo further changes, and the release date has not yet been confirmed. However, the second Korn x Adidas collection is anticipated to launch in May 2024. The collection will be sold at adidas stores and select retailers.
