Karhu is comping with its third and final edition of the 'Forest Rules' collection. The new collection is dropping on the 21st of April 2023.Here, we see the popular models Fusion 2.0 and Legacy 96 get a new makeover. Let us have a look at all the details:
Preservation of the forest
With the 'Forest Rules' collection is Karhu trying to raise awareness for preservation of the forests all around the world. Being out in the wild is according to Karhu one of the most beautiful things there is to do. They are not wrong, but big companies and harvesting has spoiled the wells that the forrest has to offer. There is to this a set of rules to follow when camping or just being out in the wild. Karhu is trying to help you help the forrest with this aware collection.
The collection
The third and final installation of the 'Forest Rules' collection exist out of two different silhouettes. The first one is non other than the Karhu Fusion 2.0. This iconic Karhu sneaker comes in a completely new colorway. With a cream outsole, a grey upper and brown and green accents all over the sneaker you can see the natural look.
The next sneaker that joins the Karhu Fusion 2.0 is the Legacy 96 silhouette. Where the Fusion 2.0 is more subtle and calm is the Legacy 96 the exacts opposite. A colorful sneaker with natural tones that make it a quick eyecatcher. From the cream outsole to the dark green tongue with white overlays and orange accents all over the sneaker. Perfect for a walk in the forest as long as you obey the rules.
With this capsule Karhu hopes to sharpen the awareness of a good behaviour in nature and out in the woods. Karhu believes that there is no place to be like the great outdoors and that this has to be protected. Matching to this, the photoshoot for the Preservation collection hints heavily to camping life.
