Drake and his Nike sub-label NOCTA are all set to take over the slide scene. In 2023, the brand will start experimenting with their own slides. The Drake X Nike NOCTA Scuba Slide official photos have recently come online and it is without a doubt a collab to keep your eyes on.
No fear of experimenting
Drake has never been afraid to make bold choices when it comes to sneakers and footwear. This was evident from previous collaborations between Nocta and Nike, such as the Hot Step Air Terra and NOCTA's own Air Zoom Flight 95-inspired sneaker. This time, they are going even deeper with the slides that are coming soon, in 2023.
Drake Nocta slider details
The Drake X Nike NOCTA Scuba Slide has a unique look. Therefore, with the characteristics of a diving shoe, it is not yet clear whether this shoe is meant for on land or in the water.
The shoe is made entirely of black rubber with a triangle-like front and with a flat bottom. This makes it fall somewhere between a slider and a diving shoe. This still paired with Drake's trademarks ( A.W.R and C.L) on the shoe and the Nike and NOCTA logo on the upper. This makes the slider a unique pair for enthusiasts.
It is not yet known when the shoe will be released. This will most likely become clear in the coming months of 2023. It does look like 2023 will be an interesting year for both Nike and Drake.
