Daily Paper shows first images of their Spring/Summer 2022 collection. The collection takes inspiration from the hip-hop scene. All eras can be found in the collection, from the oversized tracksuits from the 70s to the Paisley prints that artists like Aaliyah wore in the 90s. The collection will be available from January 14, 2022.
Daily Paper SS22 collection
In the upcoming collection, hip-hop takes center stage. Hip hop has a big influence in the fashion world. Think of brands like Karl Kani and Tommy Hilfiger. The new collection of the Amsterdam-based brand also shows the different eras. From the 70s to the present, all styles pass by in the SS22 collection.
We see items in the collection that take their inspiration from the early era of hip hop. Oversized track suits in bright colors come along. The collection also includes bright red leather pants with an oversized fit. These pants can be combined with the matching oversized denim jacket.
Other items take their inspiration from the hip-hop anno '90s. The collection includes oversized denim overalls and striking prints. All items also feature the Daily Paper logo. The SS22 Collection consists of items for men and women.
Co-Founder and Design Director Abderrahmane Trabsini talks about creating the collection, "I enjoyed working on this collection a lot as Hip Hop has always been, and still is, a big inspiration to us." According to him, hip hop and the culture around it has had a big impact on the brand.
"The influence of Hip Hop and its community had a significant impact on how Daily Paper came to life. First through telling stories around street culture on our blog which later evolved to become the fashion brand we are today," said Trabsini.
The Daily Paper SS22 Collection Will be released on January 14, 2022 at Daily Paper.
