This week, Rick Owens presented his Fall 2021 show in Venice and a new collaboration popped up. We are talking about an upcoming Converse x Rick Owens collab. During the presentation of Rick Owen's Fall 2021 show, images of the first sneaker that is part of the collab, called TURBODRK Chuck 70, surfaced.
Rick Owens is a legendary American fashion designer who has released several groundbreaking collections. These collections have also given him a nickname - 'The Lord of the Darkness'. He has inspired many designers with his gothic-inspired aesthetic. The garments that Owens always releases are often in a black colour. In addition, Rick Owens' designs are also loved by rappers such as A$AP Rocky, who mentions Rick Owens several times in several songs.

With the upcoming collaboration approaching, Converse's silhouette makes its first appearance with a square nose and an extended tongue. The sneaker will appear in a classic 'Black & White' colorway with some distinctive branding here and there, such as the signature All Stars logo on the inside. There is also branding on the extended tongue.
Besides this TurboDRKS Chuck 70, we can expect more sneakers to be part of the collab in the course of 2021. An exact release date has not been announced so far. But we do expect to see it released in the coming weeks via Converse. A white colorway will also most likely appear.
