Japanese fashion label Comme des Garçons was at it again this Paris Fashion Week 2024. Rei Kawakubo's designs can be recognised by their black and white colour palette. In addition to a collaboration with New Balance, the following Nike collab appeared in which the Nike Air Max TL 2.5 takes centre stage. Check out the first images and details here.
Comme des Garçons HOMME x Nike Air Max TL 2.5
Last week, in January 2024, Paris was the place to be for fashion. During the week of 16-21 January 2024, brands showed their menswear collection for next season. French fashion house Louis Vuitton attracted a lot of attention with their Timberland collaboration, led by Pharrell Williams, but Comme des Garçons was also a much-discussed name.
Earlier, we saw the Comme des Garçons x New Balance 860v2 appear in two colorways. Now we see no less than three colorways of the Nike Air Max TL 2.5.
The Air Max TL 2.5 silhouette was released in 2008 and features a retro design. The sneaker appears in a white, black and black and white colorway.
The Comme des Garçons HOMME x Nike Air Max TL 2.5 has a chunky silhouette. The upper is made of breathable mesh. Over the design run dynamic overlays that give the pair a unique look. The heel features the CdG logo. The year 2024 is printed on the tongue.
The black and white colorway has a black upper with a white mudguard. The white and black designs have a monotone design. All three sneakers of course use Max Air technology in the midsole that provide cushioning and comfort.
The Comme des Garçons HOMME x Nike Air Max TL 2.5 does not yet have an official release date. We can most likely expect the three colorways of the sneaker in summer 2024. Check out the first images below and keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers news page for any updates.
