It could be argued that 2023 was the year of the Air Max. In March 2023, for example, we saw the iconic 'Big Bubble' return for Air Max Day. Increasingly, we are seeing the larger Air unit return in new releases, including the upcoming Nike Air Max 1 '86 OG 'USA'. Earlier this year, the 'USA' colorway appeared on the golf version of the Air Max 1. Now we can look forward to the release of the original AM1 which will take place around September 2023.
The upper of the sneaker, as we are used to, consists of mesh with suede overlays of light grey color. The mudguards and the Swoosh come in the familiar Obsidian color. Finally, some red details can be seen, for example on the outsole.
