We've got a new mix on Sneakerjagers Radio in cooperation with La Cassette Recordings! This time it's none other than Chamos in front of the green screen.
With SJ Radio & La Cassette Recordings, we're trying to give more and more DJs a place outside of our network. Many faces are already familiar to us from past La Cassette events at EKKO, Weelde or Filmcafe. By wanting to represent our own broad music taste, this week we have two guests behind the decks who know what a fissa is.
Chamos can be labelled as genre-transcending. A lot of hip-hop in an even more danceable form. These guys have performed regularly at Encore, Amsterdam Open Air and Vunzige Deuntjes. Maybe these guys are even bigger abroad after shows in Barcelona, Hamburg and even an own tour in Asia where cities like Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur and Seoul were visited. Red Bull music described Chamos, alongside names like JAEL, Jarreau Vandal & FS Green, as proof that the Dutch DJ scene is inventive and versatile. It's a formula that is especially popular in Asia.
Besides spinning music, these guys are also Soundcloud legends in producing edits and mashups. They have produced edits of songs by Skepta, Kendrick Lamar and Kanye, among others. You can listen to them here! They also released their own production on the Studio KOTO label in 2020.
Expect a lot of edits, mashups and club classics in this set. We can't wait to see these guys in the club again. Enjoy a sunny moment in the background which fits perfectly with the set played by the men of Chamos.
