You may know Central Cee from his hit 'Doja' or from the craziness on Amsterdam's Zeeburgerdijk, where fans could score his autograph at Patta. Now in 2024, this British rapper reaches new heights by teaming up with Nike.
Central Cee, a rapper from Shepherd's Bush, London, with more than 10 million followers on Instagram, has quickly made a name for himself in the UK music scene. With his distinctive style and growing fame, he has caught the attention of major players in the industry. Back in 2023, he collaborated with JD Sports:
Central Cee x Nike
In March 2024, Central Cee also managed to attract the attention of Nike. The rapper is known as a fan of the brand, which became clear when he made headlines in 2023 by appearing on the red carpet of the British Fashion Awards in Nike sweatpants. He responded to this on TikTok with: 'I dressed like this 365 days a year I'm not changing it for one day. It's not even my wedding day. I went there as me.' So it is no surprise that the two are now working together.
Although fairly little is yet known about the collaboration, we can expect a striking Nike Air Max 95 in a colour combination of Black/Metallic, Red Bronze/Anthracite/Dusted and Clay/Cool Grey. The sneaker will most likely also nod to Central Cee's British roots and, of course, the signature 3M reflective details should not be missing.
Besides the Air Max 95, Cench (and how could it be otherwise...) might be getting a Nike Tech Fleece. The British rapper is known for wearing these tracksuits, we see him in Tech Fleece in the JD campaign and there are even TikTok videos explaining how the resell price of certain colours go up when Central Cee wears them. He also appears in a grey tracksuit in his new video for his first song of 2024, 'I Will'.
With his signature look and influence in both the music and fashion world, the collab with Nike looks to be promising. While little is currently known about the collaboration, the items are expected to be released during the 2024 holiday season.
