ASICS is certainly not sitting still in 2022, in the month of August for example, several collabs will be released. Think of the collaboration with JJJJound and Awake NY. But also a silhouette of their own is on the way. The Japanese brand comes out with the GEL-SPOTLYTE LOW V2. Four different colorways will be released in Asia on August 20, 2022, after that the lifestyle pairs will get an international release. Take a look at the colorways below!
The silhouette, the GEL-SPOTLYTE LOW V2, is inspired by the retro basketball shoe. This is reflected in the mix of materials and the strap on the forefoot. The text 'Sound Mind, Sound Body' is printed on the strap.
The four colorways are inspired by the new wave records of the 80s with retro shades of blue/white, blue/black, orange/silver and white/green. A nice detail are the luggage tags that are attached to the laces. Lastly, the yellowed soles complete the whole retro style.
