Happy Birthday ASICS Gel-Lyte III 🎉! The popular silhouette is celebrating its 30th birthday this year and we are therefore getting one really chic colorway after another. Today we want to introduce the new ASICS Gel-Lyte III 'Aquarium' to you, because it looks like it will be next on the release list.
According to our information, the sneaker will be launched on the market on 11 September 2020 at 00:00 hours. The price will be around 120€, as always. It is 1990 and designer Shigeyuki Mitsui is launching his design of the ASICS Gel-Lyte III for the first time. Today, 30 years later, we celebrate the silhouette in the sneaker game extreme. And this year we could also be happy about a lot of nice colorways! You can get an overview below.
But, to cut a long story short: we are finally happy about this neon colorway on the popular silhouette. Aquarium, that's what we're talking about here, because the sneaker features a beautiful, light blue. In addition there are design elements in black and orange. These also highlight the signature stripes, for example.
Some of you probably already know what a Gel-Lyte has to offer in terms of comfort. Nevertheless: for years ASICS has stood for great sports shoes, chic sneaker styles and innovative technologies, but above all, they should be comfortable. The upper of the sneakers comes in its very original way with a mesh base, combined with suede and leather elements. Of course, the ASICS branding is also a must. Characteristic for the silhouette is also the split tongue, which you can see on the last picture.
