Yohji Yamamoto showed his next collection for adidas Y-3 during Paris Fashion Week. The collection focused on three principles: "Aeration, Reflex & Superposition" and used Yamamoto's signature style. The collection's showpieces: the adidas Y-3 kits in collaboration with Japan Football Association (JFA).

Japanese fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto is well-known at adidas. The designer joined adidas in 2003 and is responsible for a lot of unique collections and releases. In June 2024, Yamamoto showed his next collection, including a first collaboration with the Japanese football team.

The collection is exactly what you expect from the designer, sleek and mostly black designs. Also released were bomber jackets that take inspiration from Japanese style, with embroidered flowers and birds, and colorful soccer kits, especially for the Japan Football Association. The football kits are now available at adidas.

The collection includes away and home kits, both short- and longsleeves. The home shirt uses the colors navy blue, red, and white. The away shirt is white with red. The chest of both shirts features the JFA logo, as well as the Y-3 logo.

Dynamic lines across the shirt give the kit a unique look. The sleeves feature three stripes. The longsleeve has a more pronounced design than the shortsleeve and comes with a flame pattern all over the design. The polo collar gives the tee a chic look.

The adidas Y-3 collection for JFA is now available from adidas. In addition to footbal kits, the collection also comes with shorts and accessories for on and off the football field. Click the button below to check out the collection at adidas.
