For more than 50 years, adidas Originals' iconic Trefoil logo has had a remarkable journey, from sports fields to cultural movements. In 2023, the brand will begin a new era and pay tribute to those who have contributed to the iconic status of the Trefoil logo.
The first part of the campaign 'We Gave the World an Original. You Gave Us a Thousand Back' consists of a series of three videos, named after the iconic shoes: Superstar, Gazelle and the Samba. Each video has its own unique story. Created by talented directors, the films highlight the journey of these trainers, from their original sporting uses to their impact on music, fashion and lifestyle.
Besides these three films, there are also photos shot by Chadwick Tyler that feature partners, collaborators and friends, all of whom have contributed to the global story of the Trefoil logo. We see people like Zinedine Zidane, Jenna Ortega, Pusha T, Anitta, Hoyeon Jung, David Beckham, Jennie and Stormzy.
