Nike comes with an 'Alter & Reveal' pack. The pairs in this pack have double layers so you can remove the top layer. On the bottom layer a different colour appears. This way, you can make the sneakers completely to your own taste.
Nike Air Force 1 'Alter & Reveal' | DO6110-100
The Nike Air Force 1 gets a lot of different colours on the upper. Red, black, white and beige make an appearance. On the toebox and on the side is a mesh material that you can easily remove. Underneath the mesh is another colour.
The toe cap, heeltab and lacing eyelets are made of suede. The rear panel is made of leather and the Swoosh is made of patent leather. After removing the mesh, the toe box is made of leather with a reptile print and the side is made of canvas.
The midsole and outsole are in white. The 'Air' text and the line around the heel are in black to bring back the same contrast from the upper to the midsole.
Nike Air Max 90 'Alter & Reveal' | DO6108-001
The Nike Air Max 90 has no mesh on the upper, but it can change colour. The longer you wear this pair, the more it will wear out. On this Air Max, the toebox, Swoosh and mudguard change colours.
At first, this silhouette has a pretty simple colorway. Grey, black and beige tones cover the upper. The outsole immediately stands out, as it is blue. With prolonged wear of these kicks, the colourful upper comes out.
The midsole and outsole do not change colour. The midsole remains white and the outsole remains blue. The outsole is less noticeable once the upper has new colours.
Nike Air Max 97 'Alter & Reveal' | DO6109-001
Just like the Air Max 90, the colours of this Air Max 97 change with prolonged wear. The different layers of leather have a different colour underneath.
The panel around the Swoosh gets a light pink colour. The lower overlay is given a blue colour, while the layer above it is the same colour as the Swoosh.
The midsole is white while the outsole is black with white and red accents. These colours do not change.
Nike Blazer Mid '77 'Alter & Reveal' | DO6402-100
The fourth model in the pack is the Nike Blazer Mid '77. On this silhouette is the same mesh as on the Nike Air Force 1. This model can be customized faster by cutting off the mesh.
Once the white mesh is removed, a zebra print in white and grey appears. This print runs down both sides and across the heel. The Swoosh does not change colour and is made of black leather.
The rest of this sneaker is in a light cream colour, including the lacing eyelets, the toecap, the mid-sole and the outsole.
