French professional football club Paris Saint-Germain announced a multi-year deal with Nike and Jordan brand in 2018. The deal includes the extension of Nike's kit partnership with Ligue 1 champion PSG until 2032. The deal was described by the football club as the 'biggest sponsorship deal' in their history. The first cooperation

PSG and Nike are no strangers to each other. Every year the French football club and Nike come up with a new sneaker release and clothing collection. The first collaboration between Nike and the football club took place three years ago. Still, the PSG x Jordan collaboration remains something unique. It is a collaboration between a basketball brand and a football club. Two of the biggest sports are brought together and such an 'unexpected' collab is of course typical for Nike.

Jordan x PSG 2021-22 home kit collection

Paris Saint-Germain and Jordan brand recently teamed up for the fourth year and the home kit for 2021-22 features the Jumpman logo for the first time. The navy blue, red and white colour scheme retains the DNA of the football club. In addition to the apparel, the collection also includes a limited-edition Air Jordan VII and a Jordan MA2.

Air Jordan VII

The Air Jordan VII sneaker is dressed in a white, college navy, sport royal and university red colour scheme. On this Air Jordan 7, the midfoot and ankle panels have been replaced with transparent mesh panels. Other notable details include the '23' on the heel being replaced with a fleur-de-lis and an image of the Eiffel Tower. Finally, the famous 'PANAME' and 'ICI C'EST PARIS' can be found on the insoles and outer flaps. A special packaging completes the design. The sneakers are still available.
