There seems to be no end to the number of colorways we can receive from Nike on the Air Max 90. Now another awesome colorway has reappeared on the iconic model. We are talking about the special 'Chlorine Blue' colorway.
In 1978 the revolutionary Air technology made its debut in Nike's trainers. Nine years later, in '87, the Air Max 1 first saw the light of day. What characterized the trainer was the striking, visible Air Unit at the back of the heel. This allowed trainer enthusiasts not only to feel the great cushioning, but also to see it!
Nowadays, Air Max trainers are an indispensable part of the trainer world. This is partly due to the great colour combinations that Nike blows us away with every time, but also because of the reliable cushioning.
Nike Air Max 90 'Chlorine Blue'
With this sleek 'Chlorine Blue' colorway, Nike has stayed true to the roots of the Air Max 90 with the iconic waffle pattern in the sole, stitched overlays and classic TPU accents. The fresh colours give the trainer a modern look and the great cushioning provides a familiar, comfortable feel.
The base of the trainer is consists of mesh with various overlays in all kinds of colours. For example, the eyestays are coloured in blue and red. The Nike Air branding on the heel and the Air Max branding on the sides appear also in these colours. The Swooshes and the whole tab are coloured more neutral, namely in an 'Iron Grey' colour. Beneath the upper part is a white midsole which is interrupted by blue or red fence around the Air Unit. A rubber outsole underneath the upper part completes the trainer.
