Another Jordan is coming to the stores as part of the Holiday 2020 collection. This time the Jordan Brand has the new Nike Air Jordan 4 Retro 'Fire Red' for us. The shoe will be released on November 28th, 2020 at 09:00 am and will be available for 200€.

Details about the Air Jordan 4 Retro 'Fire Red

The Air Jordan comes in OG style. That means the colours and materials are based on the original Air Jordan 4 'Fire Red from 1989. Due to the high quality white leather it looks clean. The stylish details in black and red provide an eye-catcher. The red sole or the red-black Nike Air Jordan logo on the back makes it special.

The "Flight Jordan" logo in red is on the tongue and inside the lining of the Jordan 4 and the Nike Swoosh is visible in the back logo of the Fire Red. The sneaker will be available in full family sizes, including toddler and kids sizes. The Air Jordan 4 Fire Red also comes with the Nike Air Hangtag.

History - OG Fire Red

Michael Jordan first wore the Air Jordan 4 Fire Red in the 1989 NBA season. After his outstanding season in 1988, in which he shone mainly through individual performances, he wanted to get a little closer to the 1989 NBA championship with the Fire Reds. MJ wore the Fire Reds for home and away games in the 1989/1990 season for a total of three months before switching to the Air Jordan 5 White/Black/Fire Red for the Allstar Game.

Still today there are some deadstock pairs of the OG model, but they are hard to find and rather not for the small purse. If you are still interested, you can have a look here. For everyone else, Nike did everything right with the Air Jordan 4 Retro Fire Red. For all Jordan collectors an absolute highlight that releases on Black Friday.
