Here comes the PUMA Sizing Guide with explanations for the PUMA size chart and your favorite models, like the RS-X3 Suede, Future Rider and the R78 Runner.

PUMA Sizing Guide? For what? I'm sure everyone of you has already made experience with it: You order a pair of new sneakers at PUMA and wait a few days full of anticipation for the postal-service guy. The shoes finally arrive, you unpack the package, open the shoe box immediately and can't wait to rock your new "babies" and then the big shock: The shoe is too big or too small for you. It squeezes the side, squeezes your toes, and and and and… The disappointment is big of course and you realize that you need to send the package back. Bad for the environment - bad for the heart. 💔 ⬇️

To make sure that this will never happen again, and to do something good for our environment, we have created a sizing guide for you again. Today we show you your most popular PUMA models and tell you exactly how each shoe fits in its size.

Know your size! With the PUMA size chart and the models RS-X3, Suede, Future Rider & R78 Runner

To quickly find the right sneaker for you, it is most important to know your own shoe size exactly. In general you have the possibility to get your foot measured at the next Footlocker and/or SNIPES. When visiting these stores, you have the additional advantage that you can try your favorite model on.

But now you don't feel like having to go to the next local sneaker store every time & in the "best case" you have to get insoles talked up. You feel me? Then I have good news for you: You can measure your feet in the comfort of your own home. How exactly you do that, you will find out now!

How to determine your own shoe size

Before we move on to the RS-X3, Suede, Future Rider and R78 Runner models from PUMA, we start with the first steps for the size chart:

Things you need: 2 sheets of paper (DIN A4), 1 pencil (pointed) & a ruler. That's it! 😁

First of all, you need to know that your feet swell during the day due to running and stress. Therefore, the following procedure is best done in the afternoon or evening. If you are sitting on the couch at home while you are reading this...get up! Because the load, which is higher when standing than when sitting, makes your feet flatter and therefore also a little bit wider. Of course this should not falsify the measurement, so get up! 😄

Now off to your own size:

STEP1: Take the piece of paper and the pencil.

STEP2: Pick a wall in your home where you can stand upright and put your heel completely down. It's best to leave your socks on at this point, as you will be wearing socks in your shoes as well.

STEP3: Place the sheet of paper on the floor, directly in front of the wall where you want to take the measurement. Now stand upright on it so that your heel touches the wall.

STEP4: In order not to falsify the result here, you ideally ask someone to border your toes with the pencil. Once you have a nice outline of your foot, you can start measuring.

STEP5: Take your ruler and measure the distance from the bottom edge of the blade (where you placed your heel) to the tip of your big toe. Write down this result in centimetres for a future reference.

Now repeat the whole thing on your other foot, as pretty much everyone has two different sized feet. Be sure to use the larger foot as a reference to determine your shoe size according to the size chart. Please keep in mind that the specifications of the different manufacturers often differ and therefore you should always use the different size charts of the different brands.

In today's sizing guide we take a closer look at PUMA's most popular models. Sure, actually, you can now find the right shoe size for your favourite models like the RS-X3, Suede, Future Rider or R78 Runner by using the PUMA size charts. But watch out! Many models vary in their fit, even if they are shoes from the same brand. We have collected the most popular models and summarized the most important information about sizing and fitting.

Sizing Guide: How the PUMA size chart fits the RS-X3, Suede, Future Rider and R78 Runner

PUMA Suede

Of course, in today's PUMA Sizing Guide we start with one of the classics par excellence. This sneaker has already aroused enthusiasm among sneakerheads from different cultures. Until today the PUMA Suede is a model that finds new fans again and again and never disappears from the surface.

The PUMA Suede offers a lot of space due to its rather normal, i.e. neither wide nor narrow shape. However, the size table of the brand differs a little from other brands. So you should definitely upsize half a size with this model (as with most other models), i.e. order half a size larger than with a true to size model.

Now you should know your size in this silhouette. By clicking on one of the pictures you will get directly to the shoe.

Conclusion: upsize min. by half a size

PUMA RS-X3 Puzzle

We continue with one of the most popular running/lifestyle silhouettes PUMA has to offer. Since its release, the RS-X3 Puzzle continuously convinces with its elaborate design, high comfort and extremely good colorways!

But now back to sizing: When choosing the right RS-X3 puzzle, there are a few things to consider. Due to the many overlays, which give the shoe a stable fit, but offer a little elasticity, this silhouette can be a bit uncomfortable to wear with extremely wide feet. In general, we recommend to buy half a size up, in case of extremely wide feet, you should even buy a whole size bigger.

Conclusion: half a size upsize, with extremely wide feet a full size upsize

PUMA Future Rider

We continue with one of the brand's latest silhouettes. The Future Rider is a silhouette that has once again made it out of the PUMA archives. With its new features, the Future Rider became a real highlight of this year.

In terms of fitting and sizing PUMA makes it relatively easy for us here. The sneaker fits true-to-size. That means you can easily find your size by comparing the PUMA size chart with your personal foot length. Since the shoe is cut rather narrowly, we would recommend an upsizing by half a size for very wide feet.

Conclusion: True to size, with very wide feet half a size upsize

PUMA R78 Runner

The tail light of today's sizing guide is provided by none other than the PUMA R78 Runner. This casual lifestyle sneaker has always convinced with its simple design and is well received by you thanks to its ability to make a good all-rounder.

As you can see on the pictures, the shoe has a certain similarity to the Future Rider model. However, the R78 Runner has a slightly wider fit as it comes with an elastic mesh upper in most cases. So the shoe allows a certain amount of room inside, which probably also contributes to the fact that this silhouette is true to size in the fitting.

Conclusion: True to size
