The New Balance Made in USA 990v2 returns with a new colour scheme. This silhouette is part of NB's MADE series. This includes the well-known and classic silhouettes that are designed in both the USA and the UK.
The new 990v2 has a grey upper. The upper consists of different kinds of materials. The base is made of mesh with leather overlays. Premium pigskin runs across much of the upper.
The different materials also have different shades of grey. For example, the mesh is the lightest part of the upper and the leather overlays at the toe are the darkest part. The 'N' on the side is the same colour grey as the bottom of the tongue. These elements reflect when you shine a torch on them.
The midsole consists of several parts. The material incorporates New Balance's "ABZORB" technology that absorbs shock through cushioning and compression resistance. The front part of the midsole is white and the back part is beige. The outsole is black.
