The first images of the Nike Air Max 90 Terrascape 'Pomegranate' have been released. This sneaker has a lot of durable elements.

Nike comes this year with the Terrascape collection. In this collection classic models get a new look. They do this to make the sneaker industry more sustainable. The brand has been working on their Move To Zero project for a while now, with which they want to end plastic waste and reduce their CO2 emissions.

The Terrascape collection will also have the Move To Zero label. The Air Max 90 will be the first silhouette they will launch in this collection.

The upper of the new Air Max 90 is white and consists of various recycled materials, including nylon. The Swoosh on the side is bigger than we are used to from this silhouette. This time, the Swoosh is also the pull loop on the heel, as it extends to the other side. The Swoosh is in the colour of a pomegranate.

The plastic elements around the laces are in light pink, but also in the red colour that we see on the Swoosh. On the tongue, there is a pull tab with the 'Terrascape' branding on it. The edges of the collar and the tongue are a bit rougher. This gives it a more raw look.

The heeltab is made of Crater Foam just like the midsole. This is a technology from Nike that they use on several sneakers. In this foam there is recycled plastic. To not change the silhouette too much, there is a transparent rubber protection over the Crater Foam.

The outsole is made of Nike Grind Rubber. Like the Crater Foam, this is a sustainable technology from the sports brand that incorporates recycled materials. The insole is yellow and has both the 'Terrascape' and 'Move To Zero' branding on it.

The release date of the Nike Air Max 90 Terrascape 'Pomegranate' is not yet known. However, we expect this pair to be released this year for €150. Don't want to miss this release? Follow us on Instagram and download the Sneakerjagers app. That way you are always in time for a new sneaker drop.
