By now it is clear that in this fairly new series we are highlighting trainers that are available on StockX for less than the retail price. January was all about the Nike Air Max 1. We received three different colorways at all kinds of different retailers throughout the month. Time after time, they sold out almost immediately. In addition, images of DJ Khaled holding the CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 'Kiss of Death' surfaced in the first week of February.
Nike Air Max 1 'Recycled White' | CT1643-100
The name of the colorway gives it away, but the upper of this Air Max 1 is composed of recycled materials. The leather mudguard features a black colour with a mini-swoosh on it in a yellow colour. If we focus on the toebox, we can see a white contrasting colour that turns into a blue colour. Next, the eyestays are red, just like the rest of the midfoot. On this red midfoot is a white Swoosh with blue stitching all around. Under the upper is a white midsole and a blue Air Unit that matches the stitching of the Swoosh. The outsole also has a white colour.
The new price for a pair of the Nike Air Max 1 'Recycled White' was €140,- but on StockX the lowest ask is currently €114 and almost all sizes are below retail price. Want to score a pair?
