Together with Paradigm, on 18 December 2021 adidas released a mini documentary. "Spread Light, Leave No Trace" is a mini documentary made by the two brands and is about sustainability in the skate world. Thus, the items from the collab are also made of sustainable materials and were dropped on 17 December 2021.
In this mini documentary, we see Paradigm founder Theo Constantinou and Mark Suciu. Mark is a professional skateboarder and was crowned 'Skater of the Year' by Thraser Magazine in 2021. In the mini-documentary, we take a look at the making process of the 'Life Before' campaign book.
All kinds of cultures come together in the documentary. The focus is on skate culture, but the passion for books, music and photography is also present. We follow Theo in the making of his book and how he goes about it. We also see photographer Marie Tomanova and musician Radamiz. They both talk about their passion and how they can express their creativity in what they do.
Also Anthony Jamari Thomas, director and photographer talks about how he sees the creative process and what is involved. In the whole video, we see the items from the Paradigm x adidas Skateboarding collection. The colour purple is used a lot in this collection. These items are made of Primeblue. This is a sustainable material made of recycled materials.
With this mini-documentary, Theo Constantinou wants to tell how important sustainability is. The title of the book and the collection 'Life Before' also deals with sustainability and according to Theo, it is a subject that is too little discussed. The items from this collaboration are now available at adidas. The 'Life Before' book is available at Paradigm.
