It's time again to see what's trending this week by looking over the bestsellers of week 25! Nike take centre stage once again with an Air Max 90, Air Force 1 and Lakers model all featuring, plus Stepney Workers Club has an awesome collab that's been popular!
A quick note: we only cover the bestsellers of a week that are still available in many sizes, in case you want to buy one of these trend kicks. In other words, the hyped sneakers of a week that are instantly sold out are not listed here.
Nike Air Force 1 Tear-Away 'Texture Reveal' | DJ9941-244
The 'tear-away' is a popular effect we've seen on quite a few silhouettes from Nike, where the top layer can be ripped off to reveal the bottom layer in whichever customised look you want to go for. At first glance, this colorway features a white base, but when you start getting through to the layers underneath a 'Fauna Brown' colorway is revealed, with autumnal shades of brown, cream and pink coming through.
You can see and read about this sneaker model in more detail in this blog post on the tear-away AF1.
Nike Lebron 18 Lakers Home | CQ9283-100
The LeBron 18 model has a unique pairing of a full-length Zoom Air unit and an Air Max unit in the heel. It's designed to withstand great force and optimise speed in every athelete. The white FlyKnit construction with black and yellow accents elsewhere are a striking look on the pair.
Nike Air Max 90 'Chlorine Blue' | CV8839-100
This slick AM90 features a mainly white base with light blue, crimson red and steel grey accents. The partially obscured Swoosh is a black detail that stands out starkly compared to the lighter colour theme of the sneaker.
Studio Hagel X Stepney Workers Club Dellow EXP 1 Low | YL01015
This collab between Studio Hagel and Stepney Workers Club is an ongoing experiment, hence the 'EXP 1'. They play with the limits of vulcanised construction, giving the pair a vulcanised sole, and also the theme of quick repair, adding the detail of tape wrapped around the heel of the suede sneakers. It's a bold and unusual look, but does the experiement pay off?
