On Saturday, August 08th, 2020 the time has finally come - Nike will release the Nike Air Max 1 SD at Brown & Pearl on Snkrs Day in 2020! Here we give you 'exclusive' information about the Kickz and why they are the Nike Air Max 1 'lit'! Snkrs Day 2020 is finally here!
Nike celebrates the 3rd anniversary of the Snkrs Apps! Happy Birthday Snkrs Apps… oops, the app will celebrate its birthday on August 8th, 2020! This year Nike will release 2 Nike Air Max 1s on Snkrs Day. We also expect further releases, as well as restocks of popular models. At the first anniversary they released the Sean x Wotherspoon x Air Max 1/97, the Off-White x Air Jordan 1 High UNC and in the United States they also released the Travis Scott x Nike Air Force 1 Olive Canvas.
By the way: This year the 'SNKRS Hunt' will be different. The reason for this is… yes, you probably already know what kind of virus is going viral right now. But yes, it could be that this year the Snkrs Day will be virtual or via AR (Augmented Reality)! We don't know how far Nike will go, but with 'AR' you have many possibilities! The two Nike Air Max 1s!
So dear community don't miss Nike's Snkrs Day! But now to the Nike Air Max 1 Brown and Pearl, the special 'Nike Release' for 08.08.2020! The first one is the Nike Air Max 1 SD Brown. The upper part of this kickz is made of brown leather - also the swoosh is covered with it. The Toebox, the heel collar and a part of the side panel are made of mesh. The highlight of this kickz is not the 'off - white colored' midsole, but the branding on the heel and the insole! On the heel you can find the numbers '8 8 20', which stands for 08. August 2020. On the insole you will find the words 'SNKRS GOT EM' - a reference to the Snkrs app when you buy a shoe. Crazy! Below you can find the pics of the brown Kickz! How do you like them? Elegant and noble, right?
The second Colorway from the Nike Air Max 1 SD is called 'Pearl'. You can also find leather elements on this shoe, but this model does not overuse 'leather' like the model before. This leather is only found on the swoosh and mudguard (above the midsole). The Toebox and the upper part of the shoe got a creamy, glossy and pearl upper. The date on the heel and the branding on the insole are also found on this model. Honestly Pearl is not my type.
By the way: The shape of this Air Max 1s looks sharper and longer than the current Air Max 1 models. It could be that these kickz have been inspired by the 'previous models'. Today's Nike AM1s are more 'egg-shaped'.
