Dime and adidas bring tennis and skateboarding together in next campaign

Skate brand Dime reunites with adidas, unveiling a Stan Smith and an Adilette Ayoon slide. The campaign features former tennis player and the face behind the sneaker Stan Smith, but producer Darude, known for the song 'Sandstorm,' also plays a comedic role (for some reason) in this minute-long video.

The Canadian skate brand is once again teaming up with adidas. Following the success of Dime x adidas ADI2000 release earlier this year, the duo now comes with a wavy adidas Stan Smith that perfectly combines the worlds of tennis andakteboarding. In addition to an adidas Stan Smith, the duo also comes with an Adilette Ayoon Slide.

The adidas Stan Smith has a clean and understated design. Staying close to the classic 1965 release, the sneaker uses the same colors as the OG Stan Smith - white and green. An eye-catching twist on the sneaker, is the wavy lines placed across the silhouette.

The sneaker uses high-quality, shiny leather. On the tongue, Stan Smith's face is replaced with an alienated image of a Jesus painting. On the heel, the Dime logo is placed in gold. The Adilette Ayoon slide appears in 'Brown' and 'Black' colorways.

But for now, let's talk about the campaign because it is quite something. The campaign begins with Stan Smith, the former tennis player and mastermind behind the sneaker. In the clip, he comments on a tennis match in which Darude takes on skateboarder Nora Vasconcellos. And oh yeah, the tennis rackets are replaced with skateboards.

In addition to the colorway shown, a black adidas Stan Smith also drops. This sneaker uses gold details, instead of green and has a burgundy heel tab.
